(Applicable to Willow Meadow Dog Park and all secure fields operated by us)

Effective from: 1st September 2025

1. Legal Compliance

  • XL Bully dogs are only permitted in our fields if they comply fully with UK law, specifically the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended) and any subsequent government guidance.

  • Owners/handlers must provide proof, on request, that the dog is:

    • On the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED).

    • Covered by valid third-party liability insurance (as required by law).

    • Neutered (by the government-mandated deadline).

    • Microchipped.

2. Supervision & Handling

  • XL Bullies must be handled only by persons over 16 years of age who are named on the exemption certificate.

  • The handler must remain in the field with the dog at all times.

  • No more than one XL Bully may be exercised per handler at a time.

3. Muzzling & Leads

  • XL Bullies must arrive at and leave the site on a lead and wearing a muzzle, as required by law.

  • Inside the secure field, the muzzle may be removed, but the handler must keep a suitable muzzle and lead immediately available.

  • The dog must be placed back on a lead and muzzled before exiting the field.

4. Exclusive Use

  • Bookings for XL Bullies are strictly single-dog or household-only.

  • Shared or group bookings with other households’ dogs are not permitted.

  • Owners must ensure gates are properly closed before letting their dog off-lead.

5. Liability & Responsibility

  • The owner/handler remains legally responsible for the behaviour, safety, and control of their dog at all times while using the field.

  • We accept no liability for any incident involving an XL Bully on our premises.

  • Failure to comply with these terms may result in an immediate ban from future bookings and possible report to the relevant authorities.

6. Booking & Cancellation

  • By booking our field for an XL Bully, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

  • Proof of exemption and insurance may be requested prior to or upon arrival. Failure to provide proof will result in refusal of entry without refund.

7. Amendments

  • These terms may be updated at any time to reflect changes in UK law or site policy. It is the responsibility of the dog owner/handler to remain up to date with current requirements.
